Announcing PHC Group’s Revised Human Rights Policy
This Policy defines the responsibilities, principles, and commitments of all PHC Group companies, while also extending expectations to suppliers and business partners worldwide. It positions human rights as a core element of our business practices. PHC Group has updated our Human Rights Policy, expanding and reaffirming our commitment to integrity, fairness, and respect for all people in our business activities.
PHC Group respects and promotes fundamental human rights in all areas of our business activities and throughout our entire value chain.
- • For Employees: PHC Group prohibits forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, discrimination, harassment, and inhumane treatment and promotes freedom of association, fair wages, safe working conditions, and work-life balance.
- • For End Users: PHC Group, with products and services directly tied to patient safety and health, pledges high-quality, accurate information, ethical marketing practices, data protection, and equitable access to healthcare solutions, including in developing regions.
- • For Workers in the Value Chain: PHC Group expects suppliers and partners to respect human rights and prevent violations across the global supply chain.
- • For Communities: PHC Group works to minimize adverse impact of its local communities, protecting the health and living environments of local communities surrounding our operations.
The Policy is rooted in our mission to contribute to the health of society through our diligent efforts to create healthcare solutions that have a positive impact and improve the lives of people.
The Policy is also aligned with internationally recognized frameworks, including the International Bill of Human Rights, the ILO*1 Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), and the OECD*2 Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
