Active humidification for stable culture conditions

The innovative Active Humidification System combines natural evaporation with heating-assisted steam generation to maintain stable humidity levels of 95% ±5%. This approach accelerates humidity recovery after door openings and reduces the risk of culture medium drying.

By delivering consistent humidity throughout the chamber, the system minimizes edge effects and supports demanding applications such as high-throughput screening, organoid development, and low-volume cultures.

Flexible humidity control modes

The MCO-173AICUVHX-PE offers flexible humidity control to suit different laboratory workflows and applications.

  • Active Humidity Mode maintains 80–90% humidity using the active humidification system without water in the humidifying tray, reducing condensation risk when analytical instruments are placed inside the chamber.
  • High Humidity Mode combines active humidification with natural evaporation from the humidifying tray to achieve stable humidity levels above 90% RH.

Advanced contamination prevention

The incubator integrates multiple technologies designed to minimize contamination risks and protect valuable cell cultures.

  • inCu-saFe interior – Copper-enriched stainless steel provides antimicrobial protection while maintaining durability.
  • SafeCell UV-LED lamp – Continuously decontaminates circulating air and water without affecting cell cultures.
  • Rapid H₂O₂ decontamination – Vaporized hydrogen peroxide combined with UV-LED light sterilizes the chamber in less than three hours.
